On March 12th, 2010, 14 U.S. citizens departed for the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Who were we? Ten veterinary students and four veterinarians. This is the first-person account of my first mission trip to the Agalta Valley in the rural part of Honduras. I would like to extend my thanks to all of those special people in my life who provided support – both monetary and spiritually.
